Sometimes you read a book that makes you want to reassess how you are living your life, and sometimes you read a book that validates all the choices you have made. Last Girl Ghosted by Lisa Unger is one of the latter. I really enjoyed the book; it was very well-written, and the story was captivating, but some of the decisions made by the main character were cringe worthy.
Last Girl Ghosted is about Wren who has had her share of trauma but is putting herself back into the world of app dating at the insistence of her close friend. After matching with a guy who seemed too good to be true, she finds out that he has some very dark secrets. The action ensues from there as Wren finds out that she shares a haunting past connection with him.
Last Girl Ghosted is kind of a modern, survival, thriller. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy suspense, but I would warn that there are some scenes that deal with abuse, so if you might be sensitive to that please be cautious.
